Frequently Asked Questions about the Emerald Cove Series

1. Will there be any additional books? Short answer? No. Let me explain. When I started writing Unraveled in 2012, I had no idea regarding my career trajectory. An editor from Love Inspired read my original opening chapters and rejected the manuscript, but asked if I had anything else. Sadly, I did not. But I finished Unraveled, and wrote several more manuscripts, always looking for an opportunity to re-submit to Love Inspired. Thankfully, I was offered a publishing contract with Harlequin Love Inspired (The Firefighter’s Twins) and I’ve been blessed to continue writing and publishing books with the amazing team at Love Inspired. For now, I don’t have any additional plans for Emerald Cove, mainly due to my existing publishing contracts.

2. What happened to Megan? In my imagination, Megan delivered a healthy baby and is raising her child with the love and support of her family and community. Sometimes I imagine weaving her into a future book so that she can have the happily ever after she deserves. 

3. Is Emerald Cove a real place? Not exactly. I did rely heavily on my childhood experiences in Alaska. There are elements of Valdez, Seward and Sitka that appear in each of the Emerald Cove books.

4. Will Unraveled become a movie? That would be amazing! I’m not aware of any plans to make my books into movies. If anyone in the industry is interested, I’m all ears.
