Heidi began dreaming up stories as a little girl. Now she writes uplifting inspirational romance novels set in small towns. She started her publishing career with a small press, then became an indie author, until she entered a contest and got the call from Harlequin Love Inspired in 2016. She’s written fifteen books (with more on the way), and in 2023 she hit the Publishers Weekly bestseller list twice. Heidi is a digital course creator, freelance writer and writing workshop instructor. Originally from Alaska, Heidi moved to North Carolina because she rarely has to shovel snow and she’s within a day’s drive of the mountains or the beach. Married to her handsome husband for over twenty years, they have three incredible sons and the world’s greatest goldendoodle. A perfect day for Heidi includes a good cup of coffee and reading books with happy endings.

Mentorship is not a replacement for professional editing services. Heidi will make every effort to assist and guide you in your journey. If you are not pleased with the outcome of the mentoring package you’ve purchased, she will work with you to reach a satisfactory resolution.
