Happy New Year!
The beginning of 2020 means we have brand new books to read, right? I’m determined to step beyond my comfort zone and choose a wider variety of books this year. I’ve also upped my game a bit and I’m going for 65 books, which is ten more than I read last year.
Even though I still have a stack of books from 2019 (and 2018 and 2017) that I want to devour, here are several soon-to-be released titles I can’t wait to read. In the interest of brevity, I’m limiting this post to books releasing before May 1st. Without further delay, here’s my list of most anticipated books of early 2020.
Two quick tips for reading more great books
- Track your reading: keeping a running list of the books I want to read + the books I’ve finished helps me have a more fulfilling reading life. Anne Bogel of Modern Mrs. Darcy has lots of tools including free downloads to track your progress.
- Tackle a challenge: a no stress, just for fun reading challenge helps me choose different books that I might not otherwise gravitate toward. Modern Mrs. Darcy has a fun one. Bethany House Publishers posted a monthly challenge here. For fans of Harlequin Love Inspired, a new reading challenge just launched. For more details (there are prizes hint hint) visit the Love Inspired Authors and Readers Facebook Group here.
Your turn: which book(s) are you super excited to read in early 2020? Leave a comment and let me know. Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
Many thanks to Net Galley for the complimentary ARC’s of several novels featured in this post. Full reviews will be posted on Goodreads and the applicable retailers once the titles officially release.
