Fans of Harlequin romance novels might be interested in checking out Amy Woods and her September debut, His Texas Forever Family. I’m working my way through Harlequin’s Heartwarming line as that’s my targeted line for publication, so I haven’t had a chance to read Amy’s work yet. I do love the book’s cover. That’s one swoon-worthy hero there.

I’m a lifelong reader, book hoarder, lover of words, and a textbook introvert—despite the obvious career choice, I took the scenic route to writing.
I worked as a bookkeeper, a high school English teacher, a claims specialist, and a family protective services call-center worker before selling my first book in December, 2013.
Suffice to say, writing’s my favorite.
I grew up in Austin, earned a B.A. in English from The University of Texas, and I still live here with my wonderfully goofy, supportive husband and our very silly rescue dog, Maggie.
