Are you one of the millions who aspire to write a book?

According to this post “81 percent of Americans feel that they have a book in them — and should write it.”

If you have always wanted to write a book, but have put your dream aside to pursue more practical matters (work, raising a family, etc.), perhaps now’s the time to get started. Maybe all this talk of NaNoWriMo and 31 days has inspired you to tackle that first draft.

You can do it.

Here are 3 posts to help you on your way.

  • Author Rachel Hauck defines a fast draft and explains how it’s done here
  • Joe Bunting grants permission to stare into space here. For real. Check it out.
  • Rochelle Melander has an interesting post up about having fun and creating amazing characters. Click here for more details and information about how you can read her book Write-a-thon: Write Your Book in 26 Days (and live to tell about it).

Happy writing, friends!
